A vast new protest wave has swept through New York, as some 20-thousand people marched on Friday, demanding better jobs and economic opportunities. The demonstration was organized by labor unions, but the rhetoric borrowed liberally from the Occupy Wall Street movement, which has been protesting in the U.S. for months.
